On the first day of the 19th Kichijoji Animation Film Festival,
as a joint project with the Ghibli Museum .
In order to explore the "movement" ----the origin of Hayao Miyazaki's animation and the "charm of hand-drawn animation",
Screening of two films----- “LUPIN III The Castle of Cagliostro” and “The King and the Mockingbird”
and
We will be holding a special talk show with Takeshi Honda and Toshiyuki Inoue, who worked on the animation for director Hayao Miyazaki's latest film "The Boy and the Heron."
And,
We welcome Sumi Shimamoto, the voice actress of Clarice and Nausicaa, as a special guest!

Winner of the Grand Prix at the 2nd Kichijoji Animation Film Festival. A selection screening of "POPTEPIPIC" directed by Jun Aoki who is now very active. Director Jun Aoki has won Grand Prix awards at the 2nd Kichijoji Animation Film Festival and is now a very active director. Of his various works, we will screen the selection from the 1st TV series "Pop Team Epic".
